CALIFORNIA rapper, Dominic Gates, has been arrested for the murder of Alliauna Green. Alliauna, 27, also a rapper who went by the stage name of Tan DaGod, was shot and killed on July 13 in Oakland, California . The shooting occurred at a meet-and-greet with fans outside of Glamor Beauty Supply.

The rapper promoted the event on her Instagram before her death, urging fans to come meet her and shop at the beauty store. After the event had wrapped up, gunshots erupted at the strip mall and Alliauna was killed. Fellow Oakland rapper, Dominic Gates, 30, has now been identified as the shooter, local Fox outlet, KTVU News first reported.



Read more on rappers Gates is also known by his rap persona, BNC4Nero. He faces murder charges from the Alameda County District Attorney and has a previous felony conviction. Another victim was reportedly injured during the shooting but was in stable condition at the hospital.

The police have not named a motive for the shooting. Most read in The US Sun Tan DaGod released an EP last September titled Ex Wood Pack. She was best known for her tracks, Thats My Ex Pack, He Say IM Kold, I Need Therapy, and Fake from Me.

Sun has reached out to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office and the Oakland Police Department but did not immediately hear back. 'TRULY BROKEN' Tan DaGod posted on her Instagram account just two days before her death promoting the fan event. She shared a photo of herself at Glamor Beauty and captioned it, "4013 TELEGRAPH OAKLAND CA !’ JULY 13th ! The Cott & I Will be there from 12-1 please be on time if you wanna meet & Greet & see the Cott live.

" Fans flooded her last post with messages of condolences in recent weeks. "I keep coming to your page . I’ve never seen your story this short .

I am truly broken into a million pieces bro I’m so sad . This can’t be true," one comment read. "This is extremely sad! May she rest in peace [dove emoji] condolences to her family," another added.

"I’m sorry this happened to you [heart emoji] such a genuine person," a third commented. Another local rapper posted a tribute for Tan DaGod on his Instagram page, praising her "forever lasting impact."
