Rail block on Western Railway suburban may lead to few train cancellations

A 5-hour rail block was conducted between Borivali and Goregaon stations to perform maintenance on tracks, signals, and overhead equipment. During this period, all slow line trains operated on the fast line between these stations, leading to some cancellations. MUMBAI: To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signals and overhead equipment, a 5-hour rail block will be carried out between Borivali and Goregaon stations on the slow tracks from 10am to 3pm today. WR chief spokesperson Vineet Abhishek said that during the block, all Up and Down slow line trains will be operated on Up and Down fast line between Borivali and Goregaon stations. "Due to this, some suburban services will remain cancelled," he stated.

Also, few Andheri and Borivali trains will be operated up to Goregaon on Harbour line. During the block period, no trains will run from platform number 1, 2, 3 and 4 at Borivali station. "Detailed information to this effect is available with the station masters, including a list of cancelled trains," he added.
