Raashii Khanna recently attended an event where she discussed her upcoming film, The Sabarmati Report . She shared her experience and motivation for choosing the project, explaining the factors that influenced her decision. When asked about her reasons for selecting the film, she elaborated on her insights and connection to the story.
Raashii explained, “Me as a person is different from me as an actor. And when I get an opportunity like that to showcase the truth, which has shaped our history in some way or the other, I will be right in the forefront.” She elaborated on the difficult decision to take on the role, saying, “I got my facts right.
It wasn’t an easy decision, and I wanted to divulge into it. I wanted to understand what happened and become a part of something so special as Sabarmati is. You will see what I stand for from the films that I do.
” Raashii, who portrays a journalist in the film, shared insights about its message and what audiences can expect from the trailer, “There are a lot of things that would probably also be revealed in the trailer.” Further she said, “We do have social responsibilities as an actor, and I cannot just play something where I know it’s going to have effect on people who are going to be watching it.
