com on Dec. 11, features graphics aligning with the film’s posters, central imagery and themes across ready-to-wear apparel and accessories. Pieces will also be available to purchase from JW Anderson Soho in London and JW Anderson in Milan.
Standouts include an off-white tote bag that features the flat-lay image from the film; two caps in khaki and navy displayed with the title “Queer,” an aqua blue sweatshirt overlayed with a still of Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey’s characters from the film and (my personal favorite) this rhino gray tee with a drawn-on blue centipede necklace, inspired by the real necklace worn by Omar Apollo’s character in the film. The back of the hoodies, made in grey and navy colorways and with bead-embellished drawstrings, is splayed on the back with the quote: “I want to talk to you..
. without speaking.” Meanwhile, four sweatshirts, in grey, gold, bright pink and steel blue showcase the film’s title alongside film credits, echoing “Queer’s ” official poster design.
Additional sweatshirts in cornflower blue, light pink, maroon and bright green feature evocative images from the film such as symbolic ima.
