Rapper Quavo is facing a lawsuit over alleged song copyright, from a local Louisiana rapper. Louisiana rapper Lamount London, known as L.Mont, is suing Quavo, who recently landed Lenny Kravitz a billboard #1 spot , for allegedly stealing his song Bubble Gum.

L.Mont claims he gave Quavo, who endorsed Kamala Harris earlier this year , a CD with the track in 2016 after opening for Migos, prior to the death of take off, and 2 Chainz in New Orleans, according to TMZ . L.Mont alleges the lyrics, arrangement, and melody are his work from 2015. He is now seeking damages.

Separately, Quavo testified this week about a 2018 altercation with a Las Vegas hotel valet who is suing him for alleged injuries. In court, Quavo described his public image: "to be a great role model, for the kids at least..

. And just be myself and show them where I came from. I always never forget where I came from.
