Quality Street fans have been urged to ditch Tesco and Asda for Aldi instead to stock up on the Christmas chocolate favourites this week. The Nestle favourites, home to the Green Triangle (formerly Noisette Triangle), the Purple One and the coconut one nobody eats, are back on supermarket shelves in a big way right now as families start planning for the festive season, which usually involves copious amounts of chocolate. Today, Aldi has announced that it's running a special promotion on Quality Street tubs as it took aim at rivals Asda and Tesco as well as Sainsbury's and Morrisons .

It has announced a huge price crash, selling 600g tubs of Quality Street for 35 percent less than Asda and Tesco. But the offer is only on for one week and at this point you have just six more days to grab a cheap tub of chocolates while stocks last.
