Monday, December 16, 2024 Qatar Airways has announced the relaunch of its daily flights to Canberra starting December 2025. The service, operating via Melbourne, will connect Australia ’s capital to Doha’s Hamad International Airport, reinforcing Qatar Airways’ commitment to expanding its Australian network. State-of-the-Art Travel Experience The flights, operated by Boeing 777 aircraft, will feature Qatar Airways’ award-winning Q-suite Business Class and complimentary high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi for all passengers, ensuring a premium travel experience.

Bookings for the route are now open, with the first outbound flight from Canberra departing on 2 December 2025. The flight schedule includes a 1 hour and 45-minute transit in Melbourne for both outbound and inbound services. Departures from Canberra (Flight QF989) are scheduled for 1:10 PM, with arrivals back in Canberra at 8:50 AM the following day.
