Monday, August 19, 2024 Qatar Airways, recognized as the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax in 2024, is set to expand its services to several key global destinations during the 2024-2025 winter season. The airline has announced an increase in flights to London, UK; Male, the Maldives; Miami, USA; and Tokyo, Japan, in response to heightened demand from passengers seeking unparalleled travel experiences. This expansion underscores Qatar Airways’ commitment to providing world-class service and connectivity to its global customer base.

Starting from 27 October 2024, Qatar Airways will add an eighth daily flight to London Heathrow (LHR), bringing the total number of weekly flights to 56. This increase makes Qatar Airways the Gulf carrier with the highest number of flights to London, reinforcing the airline’s strong presence in the UK market. The move comes as part of Qatar Airways’ strategic alliance with British Airways, which also operates two daily flights between London and Doha.



Together, the airlines will offer a total of 10 daily flights between these two major hubs, providing more than 42,000 seats per week each way.
