Wednesday, October 2, 2024 Qatar Airways is set to introduce a new route to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) beginning December 11, 2024. This new service will feature three weekly non-stop flights originating from Hamad International Airport (DOH), recognized as the World’s Best Airport. With this addition, Toronto becomes Qatar Airways’ fourteenth destination in the Americas and its second in Canada, complementing the existing service to Montréal.
Since its inception, the Montréal route has welcomed over 1.6 million passengers, facilitated by seven daily flights to Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL). The Toronto route will be operated using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which are outfitted with 42 award-winning Qsuite Business Class seats and 312 Economy Class seats.
This service will offer travelers from Canada and beyond convenient access to Qatar Airways’ extensive global network, connecting them to key destinations such as Colombo (CMB), Bangkok (BKK), Delhi (DEL), Kathmandu (KTM), and Mumbai (BOM).
