Wednesday, January 22, 2025 Qatar Airways is excited to announce the expansion of its services to the Americas with the introduction of bi-weekly flights every Wednesday and Sunday, commencing in early summer 2025. These new routes will link Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha with Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport (BOG) in Colombia and continue to Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport (CCS) in Venezuela. The return journey from Caracas to Doha will be a direct flight.
This pioneering service positions Qatar Airways as the first airline to establish non-stop flights between the Middle East and Colombia and the sole Middle Eastern airline to operate in Venezuela. The introduction of these routes extends Qatar Airways’ network within the Americas to 16 key destinations, including Dallas, Miami, New York City, São Paulo, and Toronto. Featuring the Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, these new services are equipped with 42 seats in Business Class and 234 seats in Economy Class.
They offer optimal convenience for travelers from Bogotá and Caracas, facilitating seamless connections to the Middle East and over 170 destinations worldwide through Qatar Airways’ extensive global network.
