Media Release Puttur, Nov 7: The eagerly anticipated 'Vision 24', an intra-departmental IT fest, was officially inaugurated at St Philomena College (Autonomous), marking the start of a day filled with competitive spirit and technological innovation. Organized by the pinnacle IT club and the computer science department, the event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, the principal of the college, who presided over the function. In his address, Dr Monteiro spoke to the students about the importance of a clear and focused mind.
“Our behaviour often mirrors our inner struggles,” he remarked, urging students to cultivate a pure mind and positive thoughts. He emphasized the impact of good deeds on society, reminding everyone that our contributions to the world define our legacy.
