Aligning with Herts Pride's theme of ‘Reflections of a Rainbow,' Proud Watford's Proud Portrait Exhibition will showcase 19 portraits of Watford people set against the colours of the rainbow flag. The portrait exhibition has already popped up at locations as diverse as the atria shopping centre, lottery operators Allwyn, Watford FC, and the Watford Big Screen. The exhibition will also be on public display at St Mary's Church in Watford town centre from September 3 to September 5.

Proud Watford's Michelle Davidson said: "You’ll notice we’ve not included any information about the sitters: nothing about their age, ethnicity, identity, sexuality, disability, ability nor beliefs. "Instead, it’s up to people to make their own minds up about both the individuals and what the entire collection means for human equality in 2024 and beyond. "And there’s an opportunity for everyone to become their own Proud Portrait through the mirror that really does make the Exhibition complete.

" During Herts Pride, the portraits will also adorn Proud Watford’s 'Loo for all of you,' a toilet facility prioritising children and adults with disabilities who will be able to use the toilet or be changed with dignity and respect. The 'Loo for all of you' is supplied by the charity RevoLOOtion, backed by LMB Signs, and sponsored by Cassiobury's UD Hair & Beauty Lounge..
