Project Runway is gearing up for season 21. After months of fans wondering if season 20 would be its last, it was announced in October 2024 that the long-running fashion design competition will return to the small screen. But instead of airing on Bravo, like it has since 2017, Project Runway will air on the Disney-owned Freeform network in 2025, according to The Hollywood Reporter .
Freeform announced it closed a deal with Spyglass Media Group to bring the series back for another 10-episode season, which will air on the network then stream on Disney+ and Hulu. “ Project Runway is an iconic television juggernaut that perfectly complements the pop-culture spirit at Freeform,” Simran Sethi , president, scripted programming, Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, said in a statement at the time. Gary Barber , chairman and CEO of Spyglass, said, “For 20 seasons, Project Runway has captured viewers’ attention and cultivated a loyal following.
The series has proven to be a valuable and enduring brand worldwide, and we could not be more excited to broaden the show’s breadth of viewership within the Freeform, Hulu and Disney+ ecosystem.” Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz from Alfred Street Industries will produce season 21.
