Prayagraj: The Bengali Welfare Association on Sunday awarded the winning Barwari committees in different categories of big and medium budget puja . In the category of big budget Puja , ‘Katghar' Barwari was the winner in the amazing idol series. Shahganj and Georgetown Barwari secured the second and third places, respectively.
Similarly, in high budget ‘Dhamaal Pandal' series, ‘Netanagar' Barwari was the winner, Bai Ka Baag was second, and Allahpur Barwari was third. Mirapur Barwari was declared the winner in the medium budget amazing idol series. South Malaka Barwari was second, and Prayag Adishakti Committee was third.
Shastri Nagar Barwari became the winner in ‘Dhamaal Pandal'. Mahamaya Pritam Nagar secured second place, and Rajrooppur Barwari got third place. In the medium budget category, Kidganj Barwari was declared the winner for best theme and best entry gate, while Kareli Barwari was selected for interior decoration and best theme-based pandal.
