Many people from around the globe look at the Princess of Wales as a fashion icon and she certainly has followed in the footsteps of her mother-in-law, the late Princess Diana. The 42-year-old, who is at the core of the Royal Family, is said to be already ahead of one of the biggest trends next year. It has been said that 2025 will be the year of the peplum as experts have predicted it will hit the high streets in the coming months.

However, Kate already has a series of different ensembles in her wardrobe that she no doubt will re-wear. Peplum was a huge hit in 2010, so maybe you already even have some in your closet too. The design features on short, ruffled fabric that extends from the waistline of a garment to create an hourglass figure.



It has been incorporated in many dresses and tops over the years which have even hit the runway. We caught up with fashion stylist Ciara Russell who has worked with some of the UK’s leading brands and celebrities. She told us that the style is inclusive of many shapes and sizes and it is not surprising that “designers are reimagining it with a modern twist.
