An interview of her with Terry Wogan has resurfaced on social media in which she reveals what she would do if the monarchy was abolished. It might be an unlikely scenario, but Princess Anne still had an answer ready. It certainly holds up to her reputation for being hardworking, the Mirror reports .

The princess royal laughed and responded: "I'd have to work even harder on the farm." This was a reference to Gatcombe Park, which is the estate that Princess Anne has occupied since 1976. It also contains a working farm.
That might answer the more general idea of if the monarchy was abolished. But of course, there's also the possibility that the former royals wouldn't be able to rely on their wealth and estates.
