The Duke of Sussex - who turned 40 earlier this month - stepped out in a fish patterned tie, at the Wellchild Awards in London on Monday. The playful tie choice appears to be inspired by the King, 75, who has previously donned a number of similar looks, including a dinosaur tie he has worn on several occasions.

The accessory, which costs £69, was purchased from British brand Reef Knots - an independent brand that is partnered with the Blue Marine Foundation, a charity dedicated to ocean sustainability. Taking a leaf out of his Charles ' book, the duke wore a pale blue tie with tiny fish patterned on the front, during his whistlestop tour of the UK. It is unclear if he saw his father during the visit, before he jetted off to South Africa .
