Prince Harry has attended the event with wife Meghan every year since 2017, shortly after they were confirmed to be dating.

The games’ new home in Birmingham could mark Meghan’s return to the UK. The 42-year-old former star has not visited Britain since in 2022. The next Invictus Games will take place in Vancouver-Whistler in Canada, and are scheduled to start in February 2025.

Prince Harry’s statement comes after he appeared at the ESPY Awards earlier this month, having won an award for his work with the sporting event.
