A preschool has improved its provision from inadequate to good. Findon Village Preschool in Worthing, High Street, was rated inadequate by Ofsted in January due to “breaches in safeguarding and welfare requirements”. Enforcement action was taken by the education regulator and in a subsequent inspection on July 2, the preschool’s good rating was restored.

The report reads: “The manager and staff have worked tirelessly to meet all actions raised at the last inspection. “For example, all staff, including the designated safeguarding lead, have completed safeguarding training.
