NORTH LOGAN — For two-and-a-half quarters, it was anyone’s game. Then the Wolves took charge in a Region 11 boys basketball game against their northern neighbors. Green Canyon got some breathing room and pulled away from Sky View in a battle of region unbeatens, 61-42, in front of a packed gym of supporters for both schools.

“We talked about stop making excuses at halftime,” GC head coach Logan Brown said. “I thought we were begging for calls and hoping things would happen instead of focusing on what we can control. (Assistant) coach (Lance) Beckert did a really good job of adjusting our defense.
