Dancehall artiste Premo JA is currently enjoying a huge buzz with his new single titled Cold World, featuring Maxxjetblac. The song, which was produced by Don Michael Production and Keniel Street Block, was released along with a video on June 19. Since then, it has been enjoying strong rotation, both locally and overseas.
"This song carries a message that resonates with people from all walks of life. Everything we sing about in Cold World is based on our experiences or observations. There's a lot of evil people out there.
I've seen friends switch up on friends out of greed and envy. I've seen people hurt people without a cause," said Premo JA. Maxxjetblac believes that Cold World has the potential to be a summer hit.
"This song has all the right ingredients to be a summer anthem; it has potent lyrics and a hypnotic rhythm. It's the kind of song that makes you think deeply about human nature and the brevity of life when you listen to it. I strongly believe it will be a huge hit, both locally and overseas," he said.
Premo JA, given name Cleveland Dawkins, hails from Portmore, St Catherine. He is a graduate of Bridgeport High School. Some of his other songs are Broken Soul , Top G and Instinct .
Maxxjetblac, given name Ranell Dunkley was born and raised in Kingston. He's a graduate of Kingston Technical High School. Some of his other releases are Wata done with Laa Lee, Ting Madd and Hennessy .
