PREGNANT Megan McKenna has admitted she's "struggling to walk and breath" after her baby bump dropped. Mum-to-be Megan has suffered bouts of illness during her first pregnancy. The reality TV star, 31, who rose to fame on shows like Towie, Celebrity Big Brother, and Ex on the Beach, is expecting a child with her fiancé Ollie Burke.

Happy Megan has been documenting her pregnancy diet on social media and last night revealed she had nipped out for a gluten-free chinese. Fans said they loved seeing Megan's baby bump, as one wrote beneath her video: "Your baby bump has definitely dropped!" And the star replied back: "It feels so heavy! I couldn't breathe walking to my car uphill last nght i's crazy!!!" However, Megan has revealed her pregnancy is complicated. He has a severe wheat allergy, and has been worried about what this could mean for her child.

And she actually experienced a terrifying moment early on in her pregnancy when she was rushed to the hospital because of an allergic reaction. Megan opened up about this experience during her segment on The One Show. It showed a clip during the incident in April 2024 , with Megan sitting in her car as she described her symptoms.

She said: “I’m still very swollen underneath my neck and underneath my tongue.” The segment then cut to present day Megan as she further explained what happened. She said: “In April, I was rushed to the hospital after having a serious allergic reaction to my medication.

My neck and tongue swelled to the point where I had to call 999 and was taken to A&E. “I also have a wheat allergy, so all my life I’ve had to be really conscious about what I eat.” Megan then admitted she was worried what her wheat allergy might mean for her unborn child, before diving into the rest of the segment which saw her meet with parents of children who suffer from allergies.

Megan learnt that many parents have been able to help manage their allergies, which left her feeling much more positive. She shared her relief, saying: “For me, hearing [the parents] speak about their children is so reassuring, especially as a mum to be. "It’s made me feel less anxious, it’s making me feel, ‘Is there actually hope for people with allergies?’” Since her debut on Ex On The Beach, Megan has rarely been away from TV screens.
