Former TOWIE star Megan, 31, is expecting her first child with her footballer fiancé Oli Burke and while she had planned to give birth in the UK, she will now be welcoming her baby in Germany. Megan revealed that her fiancé Oli now plays for a German team and while she had planned to join her partner there with their baby after birth, plans have now changed and Megan’s mum will be flying over to be with her for the delivery.

Before the unexpected move, Megan had chosen the Lindo Wing in St Mary's hospital to give birth - and was looking forward to posing on the same steps that Kate Middleton did after welcoming her three children - Prince George , Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis . It's also the place where Princess Diana gave birth to Prince William and Prince Harry. Along with private suites that include an en-suite bathroom, expectant mothers are provided with toiletries, satellite TV, phone and a fridge.

There are also personal chefs on site who are able to cater to specific dietary requirements - guests are able to choose afternoon tea like Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead did after giving birth there. Given it’s a private hospital, giving birth at the Lindo Wing can cost thousands of pounds with different level of packages available. Sharing a picture of her standing outside the maternity wing as she cradled her baby bump, Megan wrote: “I know alot of you wanted to know where I was originally giving birth.

. I had chosen St Mary’s The Lindo wing. I had to pose on the steps where Kate Middleton had her beautiful royal babies! I’ve always dreamed of giving birth here and the midwives were so lovely for my short time being there.

.. ide prefer a frankfurter after birth than afternoon tea anyway.

"This photo was supposed to be a swipe for after the baby arrived...

But on the other hand we have been to our new German hospital and absolutely love it. The facilities are amazing and a lot of doctors speak English! "I know a lot of you have been worried about me giving birth in a different country but I feel good and safe and my mum is flying over to be here with me. Thankyou for all your messages and tips.

I love my insta family. The count down begins..

.." When one fan asked her why she had moved to Germany, Megan explained: "Oli is signed to a German team, so ofcourse want to be with Oli for the birth and be in our baby bubble together once it’s here x.
