It's been a busy few months of preparations at Cork's newest cake shop and cafe, as owner Ruairi gets ready to open his brand new Ruairi's Kitchen cafe. Ruairi Domican Byrne is a third-generation baker and has taken on the lease of the former Post Office property on High Street. After months of work to gut the property and fit it with a new kitchen and cafe area (and a lovely lick of pink paint) Ruairi has confirmed an opening date.

Ruairi's Kitchen will be open on November 12 - with loads of time to get in for some Christmas goodies.
