Tourists visiting Milan, Italy, may be in for a change with cigarettes now going out of style in one of the biggest fashion capitals of the world. Milan City council passed an Air Quality Regulation in 2020 that went into effect on Wednesday. "The smoking ban in the city will be extended to all public or publicly used outdoor areas, including streets and roads, with the exception of isolated areas where it is possible to respect the distance of 10 meters from other people," the Municipality of Milan’s press release states.

The smoking of tobacco products outdoors in Milan, Italy, is now banned as the city moves to improve public health and the environment.
