A popular Glasgow restaurant is set to 'temporarily close' its doors for a huge makeover. Ox and Finch on Sauchiehall Street in the city centre revealed it will be shut from Sunday, October 13 until Spring 2025. The food spot is known for offering creative and contemporary tapas-style dishes.

Taking to social media to announce its temporary closure, the eatery says it follows celebrating its 10th birthday earlier this year. As part of its birthday celebrations, the eatery teased it had 'very special plans' to mark the occasion.



Now, the much-loved food joint said they are 'thrilled' to reveal the venue will be undergoing a renovation this autumn-winter. They said the eatery will be operating as 'business as usual' until it closes on Saturday, October 12. After that, it will be shut until Spring next year to allow a transformation of the location.

"Earlier this year, Ox and Finch celebrated its 10th year at 920 Sauchiehall Street. "With few expectations, the restaurant has been open seven days a week, often welcoming upwards of 300 guests a day.

"We're immensely proud of what we've achieved in the past decade and we're thrilled to announce that Ox and Finch will be undergoing a renova.
