Popular Karangahape Rd Peruvian restaurant Madame George has announced its closure, saying the economic downturn has made it “impossible” to continue. Madame George owner, Pablo Arrasco Paz, took to the restaurant’s social media pages tonight, announcing with “a heavy heart” its closure after almost a decade. “After eight years of serving our K Rd community with passion + dedication, the current economic downturn has made it impossible for us to continue,” Arrasco Paz wrote.
