A specialist police squad have been called into tackle nuisance off-road bikers in part of Coventry . West Midlands Police's road crime team have been out in Canley . They have been working with Canley Neighbourhood Team officers to tackle the use of off-road bikes that are causing anti-social behaviour.

This, the team says, follows complaints from locals. As a result of the most recent operation in the area, the teams recovered a stolen bike. The force's road crime team have staged a number of stings across the city in recent weeks.

They seized a number of suspected stolen parcels as well as making two arrests. Two men, who were not identified, were taken into custody.

Also, last month, they worked with interceptors to stop a car which had been used in a a string of theft from and of vehicle offences in the city.
