Pune: The Sangvi police nabbed a burglar after a chase in Old Sangvi early on Sunday. His two accomplices, however, escaped with cash and gold jewellery, collectively worth Rs70,000. The police have identified the arrested as Hukumsingh Kalyani (32) of Ramtekdi in Hadapsar.

A resident (67) of Shitolenagar in Old Sangvi has lodged a complaint. Sub-inspector GS Dhage told TOI that around 2.30am on Sunday, the suspect and his aides, after finding the complainant’s flat locked, broke into it.
