Rachael Lillis, known for voicing Misty and Jessie from Pokemon, passed away after battling breast cancer. The 46-year-old voice artist has been fighting breast cancer since May.

Her co-star in Pokémon, Veronica Taylor, who provided the voice of Ash Ketchum, the main character, shared the shocking news. Taylor honoured her friend and coworker in a moving statement that she shared on X (formerly known as Twitter). Sharing the post on social media, she wrote, “We all know Rachael Lillis from the many wonderful roles she played.
