A jury has handed down a guilty verdict to Freddie Lee Trone for the 2022 killing of rapper PnB Rock. The music world was shaken when Rakim Allen, better known as PnB Rock, was in September 2022 at the iconic Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in , California. by sending his own 17-year-old son to rob and fatally shoot PnB Rock, who at the time was donning jewelry valued at over half a million dollars.

Labelled the architect behind the robbery and identified as the escape driver, Trone drew widespread condemnation, reports . Express US received an emotional statement from PnB Rock's former DJ saying, "PnB was one of the biggest things in the music scene at the time, he changed the Los Angeles music scene, and will always be remembered." He added, "It took long enough for them to find this guy guilty - I hope he goes away for a long a-- time.



" Also found guilty was Tremont Jones, Trone's co-defendant, who faced robbery and conspiracy charges. According to prosecutors, it was Jones who tipped off Trone about PnB Rock's location. While the supposed shooter has been deemed unfit for trial, Trones reckoning comes with a sentencing set for August 27, 2024.
