On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed from Poland for his historic visit to Ukraine, becoming the first Indian leader to visit the country since it gained independence. Following a productive two-day visit to Poland, where he engaged in extensive discussions with Polish officials, Modi set off on a 10-hour train journey to Kyiv, opting for this over a shorter direct flight. Invited by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Modi is traveling to Kyiv aboard a Polish train known as Train Force One.

This luxury train is noted for its high-end amenities and superior service. It features advanced security measures, including armored windows, comprehensive surveillance, and a secure communication system. The train's interior offers a modern, hotel-like atmosphere with spacious seating and comfortable sleeping quarters.
