Sony's latest State of Play event is happening today, September 24, promising around 30 minutes of news and announcements for 20+ games. In this gallery, we're rounding up all the major announcements.

Fans can expect news and updates on PS5 and PSVR 2 games from "studios around the world," Sony said. The existence of the State of Play leaked ahead of time, as did one of the show's expected reveals, the Soul Reaver 1+2 remaster collection. In other PlayStation news, the PS5 Pro goes on sale in November, but preorders for the $700 console open on September 26.



The slick-looking PS5 30th Anniversary system , meanwhile is coming later in November. One of the first big reveals from the State of Play was the reveal of free DLC for Astro Bot. It includes five new speedrun levels and 10 new bots to rescue.

The free DLC launches this fall. The Midnight Walk, an atmospheric VR game for PS5 and PS VR 2, is in the works from Moon Hood Studios. A new game called Hell Is Us from Rogue Factor and Nacon is in development for PlayStation 5.

Metro Awakening is a VR game set in the popular Metro universe. The game's release date, November 7, was confirmed during the State of Play. Archeage Chronicles is coming to PlayStation 5.

Palworld, the popular Pokemon-inspired open-world world survival game, is coming to PS5. And not just that. It's out now! Coming Spring 2025, the Lunar Remastered Collection is on the way for PS5 and PS4.

A DLC bundle for Sonic x Shadows Generations based on the upcoming movie, is coming to the game, featuring Keanu Reeves as Shadow. A DLC pack for TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, Radical Reptiles, was announced during State of Play--and it's out today. Sony confirmed a release date for Fantasian Neo Dimension, announcing the game will launch on December 5.

An epic trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard premiered during the State of Play, showing off a climatic battle that looked very intense. Just in time for the spooky season, Sony and Remedy announced that Alan Wake II's The Lake House expansion is coming in October. It looks very spooky.

Hitman World of Assassination for VR is launching this December. It brings a new perspective to the world of contract-killing. The old is new again as the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 and 2 remastered collection launches on December 10 for PS4 and PS5.

Lego Fortnite is adding split-screen support soon, and that's pretty nice news for people wanting to enjoy the family friendly game together locally. Omega Force's Dynasty Warriors Origins launches on January 17. Upvote Leave Blank.
