OCTOBER is a special month with people around the world wearing pink ribbons in a show of support for breast health. Also known as Pink October, this is when many activities are organised to raise awareness and educate women on the need for check-ups and early detection of cancer. Restaurants and hotels also recognise the importance of advocating for improved awareness among women regarding their health.

Following the success of last year’s event, Element Kuala Lumpur is once again partnering with Tilley, an Australian manufacturer of soap, scented soy candles and home fragrance products, for its “Pink-tastic Gathering” afternoon tea in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
