“Pilot” shows no signs of slowing down at the Korean box office! Ever since its release on July 31, the new comedy movie has enjoyed an uninterrupted 11-day streak at No. 1 at the Korean box office. On August 11, the Korean Film Council announced that “Pilot” had officially surpassed 3 million moviegoers—meaning that less than two weeks into its run, it is already the the third most successful Korean film released this year.
“Pilot” tells the story of a pilot (played by Jo Jung Suk ) who becomes unemployed overnight, but succeeds in getting a new job after making a dramatic transformation.
