Tourism minister Kandula Durgesh said that Pichukalanka village in Atreyapuram mandal of Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district would be developed as a beautiful tourism spot as there is vast natural beauty of wealth in the islet.
Oberoi company representatives headed by its vice-chairman R. Sankar visited Pichukalanka on Monday along with Durgesh, Rajamahendravaram rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary, Kothapeta MLA Bandaru Satyananda Rao and the Konaseema collector R. Mahesh Kumar.
Durgesh said that representatives of the company had held discussions with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on developing the islet village and already the company had built villas and resorts at Gandikota, Tirupati and Visakhapatnam..
