The swim, now in its 17th year, attracted more than 800 swimmers who swam a 3k course from Nepean Sailing Club to Britannia Yacht Club or a 1.5k course that started at Britannia Beach. Amelia was born paralyzed from the chest down so Anne towed her in a specially outfitted raft. The pair raised more than $12,000 for Easter Seals, which provides support for children with disabilities and their families.
