Phillip Schofield today had the public openmouthed, following speculation that his days in TV could permanently be over, as he announced an unexpected comeback. The ex- This Morning host, who was axed from his high profile role alongside Holly Willoughby after an "ill-advised but not illegal" affair with a teenage runner on the show, will now return to viewers' screens for a three-part show set on a desert island. He will be seen soul-searching and confronting his demons in total isolation during a ten day stint on the island, which is located off the coast of Madagascar.

PR expert Rochelle White has now exclusively given her verdict on whether Phillip can be successful with his big comeback. She revealed: "I feel that this is one of the ways he can return to TV/on screen without it looking like a gimmick or [like he's] trying to be accepted. "The show will show him in a real and authentic way which I think he will try and use as a stepping stone to his next move.
