Phillip Schofield delivered a very candid viewing experience during the second instalment of Cast Away, confronting his "inner demons" while totally isolated on a remote desert island for 10 days. Avidly watching fans took to Twitter (X) to quiz whether he was taking aim at former This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby after he shared stories of his "sacking" and made claims he'd been "thrown under the bus". "There are a lot of amazing people in morning television," he mused while collecting wood to help him stoke a fire.
Then he made the audacious claim that there were "only three s***s". Looking visibly angry, he declared: "One of them is a coward who never stepped up in Queuegate. One of them is a coward because they never stepped up when I was being battered by that one journalist.
.. and the other one is just brand-orientated - not what you expect, not what you think you're gonna get.
" " Phillip Schofield 100 percent talking about Holly from This Morning about ‘the brand’," claimed one viewer on X. "So which one was Holly? #PhillipSchofield #Castaway," another quizzed. A third quipped of the Wylde Moon founder: "I have one question to Holly watching this, 'Firstly, are you ok?' #PhillipSchofield.
" A fourth deduced: "He sounds pretty bitter. #PhillipSchofield." However, not everyone criticised the ex-This Morning host, who was axed from his weekday morning slot following his "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague.
One praised: "I admire #PhillipSc.
