Phillip Schofield has announced he will return to TV over one year after his departure from . It was announced on Wednesday (September 25) that Schofield will front a new reality show called Cast Away, airing over three consecutive nights beginning next Monday (September 30) on Channel 5. The series follows Schofield as he lives entirely off the grid on a deserted island off the coast of Madagascar.
Over 10 grueling days of total isolation, Schofield is said to open up about his departure from This Morning and the subsequent controversy. Confirming the news on his , Schofield shared a photo of himself sat alone on a deserted beach. "Now you know how I spent my summer," he captioned the post.
