Perth influencer Em Davies has given birth to her first child, sharing the news in an adorable social media post that has the internet “crying”. Davies announced her daughter’s arrival on Instagram with a photo carousel of the newborn. “13/08/24 - 6:07pm.
Isla Sue Gambin 🤍 I’ve never felt a love like this. We did it 🥺 @joelgambin,” the post was captioned. Baby Isla’s middle name, Sue, is a tribute to Davies’ mum who unexpectedly passed away in 2016.
Davies brought a picture of her mum to the hospital so she could have her mother by her side the whole way. On her Instagram story, Davies shared a video of Isla — who has already adopted the nickname “la la” — in her arms. Davies also shared a picture of her fiance Joel Gambin, saying she didn’t think it was possible to love him more than she already did.
Friends and fans flooded her Instagram comments to congratulate the new parents on their “beautiful baby girl”. Before revealing that she had given birth, Davies shared a heartfelt message about her pregnancy journey without her mum Sue. “I wished I could have asked her what I was supposed to do to prepare for this little human. I wished she could have comforted me and talked me through my thoughts and fears.
