Photo by Ashley Fraser / POSTMEDIA Article content Ottawa police are seeking witnesses to a serious collision Friday morning at the intersection of Rideau Street and King Edward Avenue that left a pedestrian with “life-threatening injuries.” In a release, the OPS said the collision occurred at about 9:35 a.m.
, when the pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was allegedly struck by a transport truck just west of King Edward. Investigators with the department’s fatal collision investigation unit were looking to speak “with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and has not yet spoken to police.
