The beloved BBC series' star Cillian Murphy , among others, honoured Stephanie's incredible talent which crafted the show's signature style. Diagnosed with terminal cancer six months prior, Stephanie died peacefully on October 26, one year after her husband Hubert Taczanowski, a director of photography, passed away. In his poignant tribute, Cillian said: "Stephanie was a ferocious talent.



She invented the Peaky Blinders look and silhouette that has become iconic across the world. We will all miss her. RIP.

" Additionally, the official Peaky Blinders Instagram paid their respects to Stephanie's "incredible work", expressing deep sadness at the news. In a statement, the page wrote: "We were so saddened to learn of the passing of costume designer Stephanie Collie. Stephanie's incredible work in our first series was key to creating the iconic look of the Peaky Blinders, and has gone on to inspire so many people around the world.

Our love and thoughts are with her family.'" Hollywood icons also spoke out, with Samuel L. Jackson reflecting on Stephanie as integral to his characters, stating, "Stephanie was fuel for my characters.

A wonderfully joyous and collaborative part of my process. I'll miss her, is an understateme.
