Birth: September 22nd, 1959 Death: June 26th, 2024 beloved mother, sister and auntFormerly of Chelmsford, MAPaula (Maiullari) Nawoichik, age 64, of Medford, OR, formerly of North Chelmsford, MA passed away on June 26, 2024, after a year-long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the beloved daughter of the late Harold E Maiullari and the late Edith (Tortolano) Maiullari.Paula is lovingly survived by her children: Matt Nawoichik and his wife Jessica of Phoenix, OR, Kevin Nawoichik and his wife Marissa of Marietta, GA, and Elizabeth Nawoichik and her husband Cody of Methuen, MA.

She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Maxwell, Eliza, Rio, Remy, Rya and Finn.In addition to her children, Paula was the devoted sister of the late Louise Maiullari of Winchester, MA, Carol Cyran of Manchester, NH, Ruth Aylward of North Billerica, MA, MaryAnne Maiullari of San Clemente, CA, Nancy Maiullari of Woburn, MA and Lucy Maiullari of North Chelmsford, MA. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, whom she adored.



Paula was a resident of Winchester, MA and graduated from high school in 1977. She received her degree from Middlesex Community College, in Fashion Merchandising. Paula moved to Chelmsford after her marriage in 1984 and was a resident there until 2021, when she moved to Oregon.

She was a ‘caretaker’ if not by profession, by her passion. She loved to cook, sew, knit, crochet, and help others in any way she could. She loved to see her grandchildren in her homemade fashions.

She was an avid walker, and you could always find her walking around her neighborhood or finding new trails to explore. Paula was a wonderful, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor.Paula worked at several places over the years, the most recent being TD Bank and Katz Nannis and Solomon Accounting.

Her career at ENSR/AECOM lasted over 25 years. She was very active in her community and volunteered at the Chelmsford Community Center, and My Father’s Place, while living in Chelmsford. Paula was also an extraordinary minister at St John’s church in Chelmsford.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at St John the Evangelist, 115 Middlesex St, in North Chelmsford at 11:00am on Saturday, July 27th. Luncheon to follow.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Paula’s memory to the ‘Rector’s Discretionary Fund’ at St.
