Comedian Paul O'Grady's luxurious seven-bedroom home in Kent has been listed for sale, a year after his untimely death. The much-loved star's passing in March 2023 at the age of 67 due to cardiac arrhythmia sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. He had a successful stage career and was a staple on iconic TV shows for many years.

Away from the limelight, Paul resided with his husband Andre Portasio, a former professional dancer, in a beautiful Kent farmhouse. After Paul's death, Andre inherited the property, which is now up for sale on Rightmove. The Lily Savage icon lived in Knoll House, featuring four reception rooms, from 1999 until his death.

Eighteen months later, Andre has decided to sell the Edwardian property despite recently winning a contentious planning dispute. In August, Andre triumphed in a bitter legal battle with neighbours over his plans to convert part of Paul's £3 million Kent estate into a holiday let. Some neighbours accused Andre of building a new home 'by the back door', arguing there was no need for more holiday lets in the area.

Despite some neighbours claiming Paul himself wouldn't have approved, others reportedly wrote in support of the proposal, and local council officials gave the scheme the green light, reports the Mirror. Despite winning the planning request, Andre has decided to put the mansion up for sale through Strutt and Parker. The grand estate, previously owned by comedian Vic Reeves, is nestled within a 50-acre plot and boas.
