The Gladiator II actor (28) and US pop star (24) were first linked together in June. In pictures published by the MailOnline on Sunday, they can be seen walking through the streets of Mayfair together and appear to be holding hands. Witnesses said that Kildare actor Mescal and Abrams – who is the daughter of Star Wars director JJ Abrams – put on a “loved-up display”, including “kissing a lot”.
They added that the pair didn’t seem “shy” about their feelings for each other as they locked lips in the sunshine. Last month they were snapped together enjoying some retail therapy together in the UK capital. An onlooker told The Sun at the time: “Paul and Gracie looked like any other young couple hitting the shops, and they went almost unnoticed.
“They seemed very relaxed in each other’s company and were busy checking out the posh shops on Bond Street. “Paul is a very low-key person, as is Gracie, so there was no fanfare and they kept their distance from each other when they were out on the street.” They noted that Normal People heart-throb Mescal and the Close to You singer “left separately” and they each made their own way home.
Meanwhile, US news outlet TMZ recently reported that they were seen dining together at Brat, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Shoreditch. The Standard contacted a representative for Mescal and Abrams for comment. Abrams has been in the UK for a series of gigs.
Her music career recently got a boost when she served alongside Sabrina Carpenter as an opening act for Taylor Swift. Mescal is riding on a high following his Oscar nomination for his role in Aftersun last year and found himself hot property in Hollywood.
