Paul Mescal has revealed that he is a fan of the Irish fast food chain Supermac’s, and even said where his favourite outlet of the restaurant is. The fast food chain was started in Galway by Pat McDonagh in the late 1970s, and has gone on to be a phenomenon on these shores — opening over 100 restaurants nationwide. Gladiator II star Paul revealed that he’s a customer to the restaurant in a recent interview — and declared that west is best when it comes to getting some Supermac’s, telling people to go to Galway for the full experience.

Is Galway Supermac’s the best?’ with Galwegians agreeing in the comments. ‘Best is in Tuam, fam!’ one commented, while another threw into the ring ‘Ballinasloe is best.
’ Another argued against Paul’s ‘Irish McDonald’s’ comment, saying ‘He’s totally wrong! Suermac’s is a million times better than McDonald’s!’ Paul was recently left red-faced during a promotional interview for Gladiator II on BBC Radio One, after a young fan called Lilly asked about his fashion sense — namely his GAA .
