The services on the passport seva portal have been suspended for technical upgrades and will resume at 6 am on September 2. The passport / PCC appointments scheduled on August 30, 2024, at all the seva kendras that come under the regional passport office including Kochi, have been cancelled. Meanwhile, the appointments that have been cancelled on the above dates will be rescheduled on the days following September 2.
The services are unavailable at both passport seva kendras and the post office passport seva kendras. The officials at the passport office said that the applicants who got an appointment on August 30 at the Passport Seva Kendras and post office passport seva kendra will get another appointment from September 2 onwards. The applicants will be informed about the details of the rescheduled appointment via email and SMS.
