com.au Rescue crews are working to get the 13 passengers off, with paramedics on standby. The Vortex ride can hit speeds of 30km per hour and spins 360 degrees.
It got jammed about 30m off the ground at about 3pm local time (6am BST). A Sea World spokesman said: "The Vortex at Sea World is currently experiencing a standard ride stoppage. " It comes just days after another Sea World ride malfunctioned and left passengers stranded. Riders on the Leviathan rollercoaster became stuck when a sensor activated last Thursday. They were helped off the ride by staff at the park.

It is understood people on the ride - reported to be Super Trooper - began being removed around 5pm on Tuesday, an estimated two hours after the issue started.
