The passenger liner SH Diana has made the Port of Mossel Bay its third port of call in South African shores as the port prepares for a busy cruise season, expecting a total of 27 vessel calls. This luxury expedition cruise ship docked on Tuesday morning with approximately 112 international visitors on board, setting the stage for thousands of tourists expected to explore the Garden Route over the next few months. The passengers, who are comprised of ground handlers and cruise itinerary planners, received a warm welcome from Captain Vania Cloete, the Acting Mossel Bay Port Manager, as well as officials from the local tourism office and the Garden Route Municipality.
